It’s the second Saturday of Spring and yet again I have been woken up by my 5:30 alarm… Well actually it’s set at 5:33AM (I’m a bit weird with alarm times like that). 5:30AM on a Saturday is absolutely absurd, but I’m a big believer in the good things you do will be rewarded. I’m sure there’s a more direct quote than that but you get what I mean. I also tell myself that maturing is being able to wake up and anytime and be ready for the day. Don’t think there is an actual quote for that but you get the gist.
I’ve got to take my younger brother to one of his athletics meets. He actually doesn’t have to be there until 7:30AM but all us kids of the family are going so it takes a whole lot to drag this house well, OUT OF THE HOUSE. Maybe the fact that it’s currently only 7°C at time of writing at 5:51AM that also plays a part.
I probably should actually be getting up and ready but it’s quite refreshing to be jotting down morning thoughts.
PLOT TWIST… Our sister ended up being too sick to come along so we had to drive back home to then restart our journey which added a lovely 12+ minutes and $8+ in tolls on our wonderful early morning drive. But lIfE Is GoOd LiFe Is GrEaT right 🙂
ANYWAYS, back to the whole athletics thing.

I’m a Mum-Ager, but without the whole being a Mum part obviously. Let’s go with… Sis-Ager. Hmmm, see that doesn’t have the same ring to it . Technically by definition you could say I AM A FULL BLOWN MANAGER.
Manager
a person responsible for controlling or administering an organization or group of staff.
See what I mean!
ANYWAYS no.2,
Post meet Rak writing here… Despite it only reach 17°C with a whole lot of wind, chasing my brother back and forth around the track throughout the day, waiting around for 2 hours in between his races, then driving him to get a haircut which was HORRIFIC before our hour drive back home (thanks to Sydney traffic) it actually ended up being quite an enjoyable day! I made a new mum friend, caught up with some athletics friends which means I finally had multiple people to chat with throughout the day.
Weekend morning blogs + a little arvo catch up might be my new thing :))
